RULE ONE. // All Managers and Directors have been elected by the Chairperson/s because of the hard work they put in to make sure the company runs smoothly and the roleplay/content we want to offer is the best quality it can be. Please be respectful to them and the work they do for our Company.RULE TWO. // Do not share out any personal information and/or conversations of others in or out of the game if you do not have their EXPRESS PERMISSION IN WRITING. This includes DMs, In-Game whispers & Gposes.RULE THREE. // To help the Managerial team and people within the community recognize you, please ensure your Server nickname (Discord) is that of your main character. Any other nicknames you choose to have are acceptable, for example, if your character goes by a nickname more than their actual name, just be sure we can identify who you are out of the game.RULE FOUR. // Though we are a 18+ Company, please keep channels mature.RULE FIVE. // Members of the Community should remember that their actions in and out of game reflect on the Community as a whole. Be sure to leave a positive impact on those around you! This includes outside of The Wyvern and in the Discord. Respect is key.RULE SIX. // There is no hard limitation on the number of active alts that can be invited into the company.Please be advised that even if you are active on any character, inactive alts will be placed in the inactive rank until you choose to play them again. Whilst we don't mind it in casual RP (nights the bar isn't open) please do not multibox RP. It makes things confusing for the people around you and the DMs. Linkshell communications and Discord RP are exempt to this rule.RULE SEVEN. // Language is, of course, going to be used and accepted in this server, we’re all adults. However, this is expected to be used as light humour.
Derogatory language relating to someone's gender identity, sex, race, ethnicity, sexual preferences, ability, etc are STRICTLY prohibited.
More serious cases, or repeat offences, will result in an immediate ban.

RULE EIGHT. // Metagaming and/or Godmodding ARE NOT accepted within our community as it hinders the group’s ability to RP and for everyone to enjoy it. Our actions will and should affect situations and scenarios ICly if it MAKES SENSE, and the information needed was offered in a roleplay setting.In addition, the company enforces the IC=/OOC line. Please understand that IC interactions and behaviours do not represent OOC interactions and behaviours and vice versa. If there is any indication that the line is being blurred, it is encouraged that you try resolving the matter privately at first before approaching staff for help. It may just be a case of simple miscommunication.
Reports of either Metagaming or Godmodding will be met with a warning from Leadership.For more clarification on the IC=/=OOC line, please review this document.RULE NINE. // Jobstones are a prolific part of FFXIV both in lore, and more recently, in roleplay. With this being the case, we actively encourage your characters use jobstones, but ask that they are used responsibly, as they run the risk of Godmodding. Any reports to Managers about Jobstones will lead to a discussion about your character in order to keep the playingfield fair for all members of the Company in FC events.RULE TEN. // Everyone in the Company has permissions to approve applications and invite to the FC. We ask, however, that you inform the Managers before doing so.
Whilst we are lore flexible and value stories over lore compliance, there are certain boundaries we have as a community. If you are unsure if your OC will cross this boundary, feel free to start a communication with any of the Managers.RULE ELEVEN. // Everyone within the Free Company is welcome to suggest Campaign, Story, and Bounty ideas. But please be aware, that should you suggest something, you will be the one to run and plan the events with the Managers.
The Managers will not DM every event within the campaign for you (with the exception of a few depending on circumstance.) but will help with general ideas, outcomes, and event structure. If DMing is not your strong suit, but you have an idea, please approach the Managers or anyone that has the DM role to discuss options.

Étoiles Infinitus: “Infinite Stars"
The name a merge of Garlean and Ishgardian parlance, just as its two founders… and a interpretation of the goals of the Company: to explore the infinite wonders of the world as well as looking even further to the Stars beyond.

And yet... That is not where the story ends.
The founders, being men of renown not only in their specific fields of expertise, but Star wide, saw it fit to use their reputations- their influence- to create a home for those lost just as they once were.
The pair, with friends in tow opened The Whispering Wyvern Mercenary Tavern within the heart of Empyreum. A home for mercenaries ran by mercenaries, they tell their regulars.
Yet they need not know of the aristocratic background surrounding those dimly lit halls.

Led by an Ishgardian Dragoon and Au Ra in Ishgard at the turn of not only the Dragonsong War, but the Final Days, the name felt fitting. A sanctuary where secrets could be whispered, stories could be shared, celebrated and even written. A sanctuary to those lost to find new friends, new families, and new beginnings.

One can't help but wonder how such a humble young man came to be in the company of mercenaries, but his preternatural talent in astromancy has proven to be a valuable asset to the company.

Company Role Head of Bounty operationsLionel Flameheart served extensively in the Dragonsong war serving under House Fortemps. When the war was over, he continued to help others by traveling the lands slaying monsters.
He became an expert hunter well versed in all kinds of animals and predators and now spends his time managing his hunting organization, "The Hunters of the Twelve," and assisting in managing the Wyvern's Bounty board. The old Dragonslsayer is happy to help all who require his expertise on hunting monsters.
